Position Overview:
As Director of Business Development youll be at the forefront of their sales efforts driving revenue growth through strategic prospecting relationship building and deal closure. This role is perfect for a hunter with a proven track record in selling businesstogovernment (B2G) solutions and a deep understanding of public sector procurement processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Prospecting: Identify and prioritize potential clients and opportunities within your assigned territory.
Relationship Development: Build professional relationships with key stakeholders to establish trust and credibility
Data Mining and Research: Conduct thorough market research to tailor sales strategies to prospect needs.
Presentation Skills: Deliver compelling pitches highlighting our value proposition and solutions.
Field Testing: Coordinate demonstrations to showcase product effectiveness.
Proposal Development: Lead proposal efforts to develop customized solutions.
Deal Closure: Drive sales process to successful closure ensuring satisfaction with terms.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing or related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business development sales or related roles.
- Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets in B2G sector.
- Deep understanding of B2G sales cycle procurement processes and government regulations.
- Strong network within publicsector and relevant industry associations.
- Excellent communication presentation and negotiation skills.
- Resultsoriented selfmotivated and thrive in fastpaced environments.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Salesforce (or other CRM) and MS Office.
Ability to troubleshoot basic PC issues at user level.
