Mobile Health Team Inc. a staffing agency has an opening for a permanent fulltime Mammography Coordinator Lead position. We are looking for someone with a passion for people.

Start Date: 2/19/2024

Shift: Days Full Time 1.0 FTE

Salary: $81000.00 to $112000.00

JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE

Provides lead/resource support for management in the efficient and effective delivery of mammography services. Promotes excellent patient care through appropriate supervision evaluation and adequate training of departmental personnel procurement/maintenance of equipment QA/QI development of appropriate policies and procedures regulatory compliance and protocol development.

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION

The Diagnostic Imaging teams at Samaritan Health Services use stateoftheart imaging technology while providing healthcare teams with the information needed for a fast accurate diagnosis. Imaging services include Xray Fluoroscopy Bone Density CT Scan Digital Mammography MRI Nuclear Medicine and Ultrasound services. We now offer PETCT scans the latest in diagnostic imaging technology and one of the most powerful imaging tools that physicians can use to help diagnose and treat patients with cancer and other diagnoses.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS

Experience:

  • Supervisory experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
  • Three (3) years of mammographer experience required.

Licenses Certifications and Registration:

  • Current ARRT RT(R) credential required.
  • A current unencumbered Oregon license in Radiologic Technology is required.
  • Current ARRT Mammography certification or equivalent required.
  • Healthcare Provider BLS required.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Adaptability/Flexibility/Social Perceptiveness: Ability to respond quickly and appropriately to urgent situations that may arise. Ability to work with a diverse population with an understanding of agerelated differences in caring for and communicating with patients caregivers and fellow staff. Possess sensitivity to the needs and experiences of others with a nonjudgmental attitude toward persons of differing values lifestyles standards and ages.
  • Customer Service/Mechanical/Safety: Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service. This includes customer needs assessment meeting quality standards of service and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Knowledge of safety practices and procedures as well as knowledge of a variety of equipment and systems. Ability to promote safe and secure operations.
  • Confidentiality/Health Information Technology: Knowledge of and ability to comply with State and Federal (HIPAA) laws about the confidentiality of protected health information and how it applies to health information technology.
  • Problem Solving/Stress Management/Time Management: Ability to identify complex problems review related information employ creativity and alternative thinking to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions. Ability to maintain patience and composure in highstress/difficult situations. Ability to organize plan and prioritize work to complete within required time frames and to follow up on pending issues. Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and thrive in dynamic fastpaced environments.
  • Communication/Medical Terminology: Effective written and oral communication skills to explain complex issues exchange information between team members and tactfully discuss issues. Ability to perform group presentations and listen to and understand complex information and ideas. Knowledge of medical records procedures and terminology. Ability to read interpret and apply policies procedures laws and regulations.
  • Team Building/Project Management: Ability to lead a team developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintaining them over time. Ability to organize plan and prioritize multiple fastmoving projects with changing priorities drivers and dependencies. Ability to work independently or as part of an integrated team to achieve a common goal.
