Linux Administrator

Responsibilities:

Conduct surveys of existing environments to identify OS dependencies and compatibility concerns.

Provide support guidance and drive application teams through the transition of their applications and data to the target OS.

Schedule and execute OS transitions for systems and applications both commercial and inhouse following Marvells directives.

Investigate troubleshoot and resolve reported issues with inhouse engineering tools.

Download and build newer versions of legacy opensource tools ensuring proper operation on the target OS.

Requirements:

Working experience with EDA tools.

HPC compute grids.

Linux VDI environments (OpenText Exceed TurboX).

Proficiency in spoken written and reading English.

Experience compiling/working with source code (open source and inhouse) and resolving runtime issues.

Proficiency in scripting languages: Python Perl Unix shell.
