Overview:

The Business Development Manager plays a crucial role in driving the growth and success of the organization. As a key member of the sales team the Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying new business opportunities building and maintaining strong client relationships and driving revenue growth. This role requires strategic thinking excellent communication skills and a strong ability to drive sales and meet targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking and cold calling
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations to prospective clients
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals
  • Negotiate and close sales deals
  • Conduct market research to identify and capitalize on emerging trends
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns
  • Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met
  • Attend industry events and conferences to generate new business leads
  • Provide regular reports on sales activities and performance
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and retention
  • Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions
  • Manage and oversee the sales team
  • Contribute to the development of the overall sales strategy
  • Participate in budget planning and management

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing or related field
  • Proven work experience as a Business Development Manager or similar role
  • Demonstrated track record of driving sales and revenue growth
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Experience in strategic planning and implementation
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Knowledge of market research and analysis
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities
