Key Purpose:

The Product Development Lead is responsible for leading the design and development function for multiple projects / programs across the division. The role holder oversees the design and development of new parts / components / products and ensures competitiveness and innovation of products processes from performance and design perspective. The role holder is responsible for ensuring delivery of projects / programs as per the targeted cost quality and delivery timelines with strong adherence to APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) process.

Roles & responsibility:

1. Responsible for developing and implementing the production plan in alignment to the plant business plan and objectives

2. Oversee and review machining / assembly operations and drive achievement of set production targets

3. Oversee measures and projects implemented to achieve quality targets cost efficiency and productivity

4. Be responsible for addressing customer complaints from production perspective

5. Participate in supplier vendor interactions and activities as per business requirements

6. Lead and manage the Production team
