SC CLEARANCE

This role requires SC clearance and in future will require DV clearance. Upon joining Cloudscaler we will undertake SC clearance checks so you must be eligible to pass SC clearance and ideally DV clearance.

What were looking for

We are looking for Principal AWS Platform Engineers to provide thought leadership to our customers on AWS Landing Zone and cloud transformation best practice. Thismeans you needexperience and a deep understanding of the challenges of cloud transformation and how to overcome them experience of working with landing zones across multiple enterprise customers and expertise of the core AWS platform services.

Our Principal Engineers need to be thought leaders masters of their craft as they work very closely with senior customer stakeholders to define technical strategy and direction of cloud programmes.

What youll be doing

You will be working closely with our customers senior stakeholders leading them through complex cloud transformations using your experience and expertise to deliver bestinclass AWS platforms operating models and security models.

• Leading and mentoring crossfunctional teams to deliver bestinclass cloud platforms
• Advising on how to resolve complex problems including which AWS service could be best suited to resolve a given challenge
• Championing infrastructure as code and opinionated about IaC structure and modularisation
• Operating cloud platforms at scale within highly regulated environments
• Implementing and working with continuous integration / continuous delivery pipelines
• Designing complex multitenant systems aligned to best practice
• Automating the build of complex AWS Services and Cloud Platforms with IaC
• Scoping container/microservices to design Cloud solutions
• Utilising deployment techniques to enable zero downtime
• Mitigating security risks in AWS and supporting a mature Cloud Security Model
