Role Description
After years of remarkable growth we are now searching for our first dedicated and versatile Chief of Staff to join forces with Amuses CEO Roshi Motman serving as her strategic right hand. As our CoS you will assume a multifaceted role dedicated to supporting our CEO and the Executive team in implementing the company vision strategy and objectives.
We are looking for a strategic mind who will navigate us through the financial and operational landscapes. You will be an active part in shaping discussions surrounding funding investments and operations. In addition you will act as a conduit of information across teams and support the executive team by assisting them in identifying and prioritizing business strategies projects and initiatives while also holding them accountable for their departmental goals and deliverables.
We strongly believe that you will thrive in this role if you have strong analytical skills exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. A passion for music and a challenger approach to the industry along with a solid understanding of the financial and operative side of a business is a major positive.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Facilitate communication and crosscollaboration across all of our teams and departments by collecting feedback identifying prioritizing and developing business strategies.
- Assist in goal setting ensuring teams are accountable and able to deliver on their set direction while keeping all relevant stakeholders involved and informed.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including staff investors partners and board members. Organize and prepare relevant board materials to facilitate seamless communication.
- Address operational challenges within the business and assist in identifying and implementing processes that add value and enable the organization to grow and scale at a healthy pace.
- Oversee strategic business initiatives and contribute to market research. Assist in competitive analysis and monitor industry trends to provide analytical insights for decisionmaking.
- Supervise and coordinate additional initiatives and strategic key projects as directed by the CEO.
Qualities and skills you possess:
- Top performer with a bachelors degree in business finance or engineering preferably complemented by an MBA and a proven history of outstanding academic excellence.
- Experience in a startup or scaleup environment with expertise in management consulting project coordination operations management finance or banking.
- Solid grasp of all aspects of a business both financial and operative.
- Excellent proficiency in verbal and written communication both in English and another language. (Mastering multiple languages is an advantage)
- Strong communication interpersonal skills and especially great people management skills.
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint (or equivalent tools in Google Suite).
- Previous experience and understanding of fundraising are advantageous.
About our CEO:
Roshi Motman graduated in Industrial and Management Engineering and Electrical Engineering from Chalmers University in Gothenburg. She broke barriers by becoming the first female Chief Executive Officer of Tigo/Millicom part of the Kinnevik group in Ghana where she was known as the CEO Maker due to her strong track record of creating strong leaders.
In addition Roshi is well known throughout her tenure and has previously claimed the prestigious 2015 COM World Series AfricanCom Award for CEO of the Year. Shes also been recognized as a trailblazer at the 5th Ghana Telecom Awards in May 2015 and was even ranked second on Swedens list of 75 young and promising women. In 2016 Roshi Motman earned her place among the Top 50 Corporate Women Leaders in Ghana. More recently Roshi placed first in 4potentials top talent list covering Swedens 100 most prominent talents.

- Scope: Fulltime and permanent.
- Team: Executive Team.
- Reports to: CEO.
- Location: Stockholm/London.
