Job Title: Nurse Practitioner
Location: Vista CA 92083
Duration: Fulltime and Direct Hire
Position Summary:
Assists the Primary Care Physicians in providing medical services to patients in specialized areas such as Family Practice Pediatrics Internal Medicine and Obstetrics/Gynecology.
Essential Functions of the Job:
Examine patients and diagnose illness.
Assists or performs routine laboratory screening and therapeutic procedures.
Facilitates the physicians referral of patients to the appropriate health facilities agencies or resources of the community.
Administers medication to patients according to established policies.
Coordinates the preparation of reports and written documentation including medical records as required by the department company state and federal agencies.
Other Responsibilities
Maintains established departmental policies and procedures objectives quality assurance program safety environmental and infection control standards.
Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs current literature inservice meetings and workshops.
Attends meetings as required and participates on committees as directed.
Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
Job Requirements
Education Minimum: Licensed Nurse Practitioner
Preferred: Nationally certified Family Nurse Practitioner.
Certification/registration: RN license and CPR Certification
Experience Minimum: 2 years of primary care experience after completion of clinical training
Equipment Used: Electrocardiogram Spirometry
Technical Knowledge: Suturing Casting
Skills: Bilingual (English/Spanish) helpful. Good oral and written communication.
Physical Activities: Standing/walking/lifting. Assisting patients transferring from a wheelchair
Working Traits: Travel to any satellite facilities.
Working Conditions: May be required to work evenings or weekends. Travel to any satellite
facilities.
Universal Requirements
Preemployment requirements include I9 physical positive background and reference check

Comply with all regulations and required schedules regarding OSHA training.
PPD Compliance
Required health screening to be performed annually.

Responsible for following all SYHC Inc. policies and procedures.
