• Research and write engaging timely and accurate articles covering various aspects of the
  
• National Hockey League (NHL) including game previews recaps analysis player profiles and league news.
  
• Stay uptodate with the latest NHL trends news and developments to produce content that resonates with hockey fans.
  
• Collaborate with content team to brainstorm ideas refine content strategies and ensure consistency in tone and style.
  
• Optimize articles for SEO to maximize reach and visibility on search engines.
  
• Adhere to deadlines and editorial guidelines to maintain highquality standards and uphold the publications reputation.
  

Requirements

• Prior work experience in sports writing preferably with a focus on NHL or hockey coverage.
  
• Open to working late US hours to accommodate game schedules and breaking news.
  
• Proficient in covering gamerelated topics including match previews recaps game analysis and league news.
  
• Strong writing skills with attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  
• A deep understanding of the NHL its teams players and current trends in the sport.
  
• Knowledge of hockey analytics and advanced statistics is a plus.

Basic Knowledge of HTML. Ability to work on CMS to publish the content on the pages and fix the basic on page issues like Title, Description, Heading ( H1 to H6) , anchor text etc. The person should know how to do text formatting, table formatting and implementation of superscripts and subscript in Google doc as well as in Microsoft word.
