Job Description
- Assist in managing the content strategy and editorial calendar for US sports coverage with a focus on hockey and the NHL.
- Coordinate with writers editors and contributors to ensure timely delivery of highquality content across various platforms including website social media and newsletters.
- Help ideate and execute creative content initiatives such as multimedia features podcasts and video series to engage and grow the audience.
- Monitor analytics and metrics to evaluate content performance and identify opportunities for optimization and growth.
- Collaborate with the social media team to promote content and engage with the audience on relevant platforms.
- Stay informed about industry trends competitor activities and audience preferences to inform content decisions and strategies.
Requirements
- Prior work experience in content management services or coming from an editorial background preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of the US sports industry including but not restricted to major leagues such as the NFL NBA MLB NHL and MLS.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with writers editors and other team members to deliver highquality content.
- Familiarity with content management systems and tools for tracking and analyzing content performance.
- A passion for sports and a commitment to delivering engaging and informative content to our audience.

Ability to work on CMS to publish the content on the pages and fix the basic on page issues like Title, Description, Heading ( H1 to H6) , anchor text etc. The person should know how to do text formatting, table formatting and implementation of superscripts and subscript in Google doc as well as in Microsoft word.
