Applications Architect

We are on the lookout for an Applications Architect to join our team supporting government initiatives in the Herndon VA area. This role is ideal for someone passionate about creating modern efficient and secure software architectures.

What Youll Do:

• Design and implement modular eventdriven microservices architectures.
  

• Deploy and operate applications within an Amazon AWS infrastructure (EC2 S3 RDS/PostgreSQL NLB) using Ansible.
  

• Develop web backend services with Python and data processing services with Go including web applications using Go Templates and a PostgreSQL database.
  

• Create web applications with ReactJS for an engaging frontend UI/UX experience.
  

• Ensure compliance with NIST 80053 security controls and the software accreditation process on secure networks.
  

• Secure systems deployed on AWS including host security networking load balancing and PKI.
  

Requirements

• Proven experience in application solution creation using container or cloudbased technologies including AWS and Azure.
  

• Expertise in DevOps tools and methodologies CI/CD pipelines and automation.
  

• Ability to identify capabilities and knowledge gaps proposing solutions through research and emerging technology applications.
  

• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  

• Experience working independently and within teams.
  

• Knowledge of Linux networking and cloud services.
  

• Experience in cloud architecture and design for solutions in AWS Azure and Google Cloud.
  

• Excellent collaboration skills with crossfunctional project teams and stakeholders.
