Uptown Propertiesis a leading CRMC property management company dedicated to providing exceptional service to our tenants and property owners. We manage a diverse portfolio of residential properties ensuring that each tenant feels at home and each property owner receives the highest level of care and attention.

Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detailoriented individual to join our team as a Leasing Agent. The Leasing Agent will play a crucial role in fostering positive relationships between the property and our tenants ensuring a seamless leasing process from start to finish. This role requires excellent communication skills a proactive attitude and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively communicate with prospective and current tenants demonstrating a sense of urgency and professionalism.
  • Conduct showings movein and moveout inspections and manage lockboxes and signage at properties.
  • Lease units and provide thorough followup throughout the leasing process.
  • Schedule new moveins and ensure accurate lease drafting in accordance with company policies.
  • Assist in monitoring lease renewals distributing notices and following up with tenants.
  • Respond to guest cards texts emails and phone calls in a timely manner.
  • Conduct competitive market analyses for rental units.
  • Write marketing ads for vacant units.
  • Provide tours of vacant units to prospective tenants.
  • Keep owners updated on property status and turnover work.
  • Complete occupied unitinspections.
  • Coordinate new moveins with housing assistance case managers.
  • Manage parking storage and tenant complaints at properties.
  • Communicate with HOAs about new tenants or violations.
  • Post notices at properties as needed and create violation notices.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse personalities.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with great attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and accurately to meet deadlines.
  • Creativity and resourcefulness in responding to various situations.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service with a positive attitude.
  • Logical judgment and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in property management or leasing.
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and leasing regulations.
  • Proficiency in Appfolio property management software and Google suite.
