Chief Financial Officer

Midwest multidisciplined engineering firm is looking to add a Chief Financial Officer to their Chicagosuburb team!

Responsibilities:

• Direct/oversee financial activities
  
• Direct preparation of all financial statements (income statements balance sheets shareholder reports tax returns and government agency reports
  
• Compare sales/profit projections and budgeted expenses to actual figures
  
• Monitor other department budgets and make recommendations
  
• Oversee necessary adjustments to future projections/budgets
  
• Review planning process and suggest improvements to the process
  
• Analyze operations to identify areas in need or reorganization downsizing and/or elimination
  
• Coordinate planning and establish planning priorities
  
• Study longrange economic trends and predict impact on future sales growth and market share
  
• Identity opportunities for expansion into new product areas
  
• Oversee investment of funds and work with investment bankers to raise additional capital required for expansion
  

Requirements:

• Degree in Business Administration Accounting or Finance
  
• 7 years of experience
  
• CPA designation preferred
