Hi
$24/hour or more ongoing independent contract role
2:00pm to 10:00pm Monday to Friday; Fairfax area LA
As Nurse Caregiver through national faithbased nonprofit organization Aleph Institute () you will provide regular care and companionship to a single individual at his family home in the Fairfax area of Los Angeles.
DETAILS
The Patient is a 51 year old male with late stage ALS
Very interesting and insightful Orthodox Rabbi; you will have engaging conversations! :)
He has a tracheostomy and uses a ventilator
Also uses an ETRAN (Alphabet) board for communication
Responsibilities include:
Provide all aspects of personal care including bathing dressing and feeding
Monitor and manage patients trach and ventilator care
Provide comfort and companionship
Communicate with patient using ETRAN (Alphabet) board
Assist with patients range of motion exercises

Requirements
Qualified MS/ALS specialty/experience
Experience with paralysis (full;body trach and vent)
Past work in a family home environment preferred
