As part of our growth strategy we are seeking a dedicated Senior Broker Support/Assistant and/or AU Mortgage Broker Trainer with substantial experience working with AFG (Australian Finance Group) as an aggregator.

Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled Senior Broker Support/Assistant and/or AU Mortgage Broker Trainer with a proven track record in the financial services industry particularly with AFG as an aggregator. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering training programs to our employees ensuring they are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to excel in their roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive training programs tailored to the needs of employees involved in AFG aggregator services.
  • Deliver engaging and effective training sessions through various mediums including inperson workshops webinars and online courses.
  • Utilize Flex AOL and Broker Engine tools (e.g. AFGs broker platform) effectively in training sessions to demonstrate processes workflows and best practices.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify training needs and develop strategies to address them.
  • Stay uptodate with industry trends and best practices related to AFG aggregator services incorporating relevant information into training materials.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to trainees answering questions and clarifying concepts as needed.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments and feedback mechanisms making adjustments as necessary to improve outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate records of training activities including attendance evaluations and certifications.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on AFG aggregator services offering guidance and support to internal teams and clients as needed.
  • Foster a positive learning environment that promotes continuous improvement and professional development.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelors degree in a relevant field (Finance Business Administration Education etc.) or equivalent work experience.
  2. Proven experience working with AFG as an aggregator with a deep understanding of their services and processes.
  3. Preferably previous experience developing and delivering training programs in the financial services industry.
  4. Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and understandable manner.
  5. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
  7. Relevant certifications or training credentials are a plus.


Must have at least 2 years of experience with Australian mortgage brokerage/loan processing Familiar with FLEX and Apply Online (AOL) software interface from an AFG accredited broker Strong background in accounting and finance is preferred A good understanding of systems and CRMs College Degree of any course Highly motivated and goal-oriented with excellent customer service and communication skills Confident and can build client rapport Organised and proven ability to manage multiple tasks Can work under minimal supervision A positive and can-do attitude Ability to understand and interpret data
