Job Description
Position Overview:
The Keller Group is closely partnered with a niche industry client seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Finance. This Vice President of Finance will be crucial in leading financial operations developing strategic financial plans and ensuring the company s financial health and stability.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of financial operations including accounting tax treasury and procurement.
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company s goals and objectives.
- Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and senior management team based on financial analysis and projections.
- Lead the annual budgeting process and longterm financial planning.
- Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial reports including monthly quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Provide timely and accurate financial information to senior management and the board of directors.
- Monitor financial performance against budget and forecast identifying areas for improvement and costsaving opportunities.
- Monitor cash flow and liquidity optimizing cash reserves and investments.
- Develop strategies to manage working capital efficiently and minimize financial risk.
- Implement best practices and streamline processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Evaluate strategic partnerships joint ventures and potential acquisition opportunities.
- Lead financial due diligence for M&A transactions and integration efforts postacquisition.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Finance Accounting Business Administration or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Proven experience (8 years) in a senior financial leadership role preferably within a sales and service company or relevant industry.
- Strong understanding of financial principles including financial planning and analysis budgeting forecasting and financial reporting.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team effectively.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools such as Netsuite Excel Quickbooks and financial modeling software.
