Job Title: Stock Market Trader Terminal Operator

Location: Kolkata

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Stock Market Trader Terminal Operator to join our team in Kolkata. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing trades monitoring market movements and managing positions using trading terminals. This role requires a deep understanding of financial markets technical analysis and risk management.

Responsibilities:

1. Execute buy and sell orders for stocks derivatives and other financial instruments using trading terminals.
   
2. Monitor market trends news and economic indicators to identify trading opportunities and risks.
   
3. Analyse technical indicators charts and patterns to make informed trading decisions.
   
4. Manage trading positions and risk exposure including setting stoploss and takeprofit levels.
   
5. Maintain awareness of market liquidity volatility and trading volumes to optimize execution strategies.
   
6. Keep detailed records of trades positions and performance metrics for analysis and reporting purposes.
   
7. Stay updated on market regulations compliance requirements and best practices in trading operations.
   
8. Continuously assess and improve trading processes tools and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
   

Qualifications:

1. Bachelors degree in Finance Economics Business or a related field.
   
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a stock market trader or terminal operator.
   
3. Strong knowledge of financial markets trading strategies and technical analysis techniques.
   
4. Experience using trading terminals (e.g. Bloomberg Terminal Reuters Eikon etc.) and trading platforms.
   
5. Proficiency in executing trades across different asset classes including equities options and futures.
   
6. Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to interpret market data and make quick decisions under pressure.
   
7. Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced trading environment.
   
8. Sound understanding of risk management principles and the ability to manage trading positions and exposure effectively.
   
9. Detailoriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks.
   
10. Knowledge of market regulations and compliance requirements relevant to trading operations.
