Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Legal Operations Manager to oversee and optimize our firms operational processes and procedures. The Legal Operations Manager will work closely with firm leadership and department heads to streamline workflows improve efficiency and enhance overall productivity.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement efficient systems and processes to support the firms legal operations.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance productivity.
- Manage the firms budget and expenses including forecasting tracking and reporting.
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of legal technology tools and software.
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to case management document management and administrative functions.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with legal regulations and industry standards.
- Supervise and mentor administrative staff including legal assistants and paralegals.
- Serve as a liaison between legal teams administrative staff and external vendors.
- Analyze data and metrics to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement.
- Stay informed about emerging trends and best practices in legal operations.
Requirements :
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in business administration legal studies or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in legal operations management or a similar role within a law firm or legal department.
- Strong understanding of legal processes and procedures.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Exceptional organizational and project management abilities.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in legal technology tools and software.
- Familiarity with financial management and budgeting principles.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fastpaced environment.
This position is fully remote although the firm retains the flexibility to transition to an inoffice or hybrid work setting as needed. Currently there are no intentions to shift to officebased work for this role but the option remains open.
