ob Title: Sr Software Engineer Virtualization

Location: Irvine CA MUST BE ONSITE 3 DAYS A WEEK.

Platform / Stack

You will work with technologies that include C/C Linux Kernel Hypervisor QEMU and various Networking Protocols.

Compensation Expectation: $70 90/hr

What Youll Do As a Sr Software Engineer Virtualization:

Design implement integrate and verify software applications and tools using CC under Linux and Windows OS

Enhance optimize and improve efficiency and robustness of the current software

Participate in requirements analysis architecture and design processes

Create and document system level solutions including Requirements Interface Control Documents and Detailed Design Documents

Collaborate with multiple development teams

Review evaluate and analyze test plans and procedures

Support system test programs analyze results and improve overall system quality

Lead and provide technical guidance to engineers designers and support personnel

Participate in a complete software development lifecycle using SAFe methodologies

Qualifications:

You could be a great fit if you have:

8 years of experience in Software Development

Strong proven experience in CC programming languages

Deep knowledge and experience in real time multithreaded embedded software

Proven experience in development under Linux

Proven experience in virtualization hypervisors like QEMU and KVM

Proven experience in socket programing IPC and PUB/SUB architecture

Strong understanding of the networking protocols TCP/UDP/IP/HTTP/SNMP/DHCP/DNS and familiarity with VLANs and basic switching and routing concepts

Demonstrated ability to work well in a fastpaced environment practicing SAFe software development principles

Proven experience in continuous integration / continuous deployment and testdriven software development
