***MUST have a U.S. Citizenship in order to work for the U.S. DoD***

Preferred Kubernetes certifications: CKAD CKA CKS etc.

PROJECT SCOPE:
We are seeking 5 Jr. to Midlevel Software Developers with Kubernetes and Kafka experience.
This is NOT a pure DevOps Engineer role!!! It is 80% software development and 20% containerization CI/CD pipeline automation builds & cloud deployment
Pure DevOps Engineers will NOT be considered
Will be working on submarine programs used by the US Navy

REQUIREMENTS:
MUST have a U.S. Citizenship in order to work for the U.S. DoD
2 years of OOP experience developing desktop/backend apps with 2 or more languages: C/C Java Python GoLang Python or Linux (bash/shell)
2 years of experience with Kubernetes development or other container orchestration Platforms as a Service (PaaS)
2 years of expertise with cloud deployment/technologies: Rancher Docker Azure AWS etc.
2 years of experience with Linux platform (RHEL CentOS)

HIGHLY PREFERRED (but NOT required):
Any active interim Secret (or higher) DoD security clearances
Any certifications: Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) Certified Kubernetes Admin (CKA) CKS RHCE RHCSA etc.
Familiar with Kubernetes Administration
Familiar with Ansible and/or Terraform (IaC) for automation
