SQA Automation Engineer

Job Description:

1. Manual Testing:

Conduct thorough manual testing of software applications to identify defects and ensure the overall quality of the product

Create detailed comprehensive and wellstructured test plans and test cases

Execute test cases and document test results providing clear and concise reports to the development team

1. Developing and Implementing Automation Solutions:

Develop and maintain robust automated test scripts and integrate them into our CI/CD pipeline for comprehensive test coverage using Java and JavaScript

3. API Testing:

Proficient in API testing including validating data integrity performance and functionality of APIs

Identify and report API issues working closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution

4. Regression Testing:

Perform regression testing to ensure that new features or bug fixes do not adversely impact existing functionality

Develop and maintain regression test suites to improve efficiency and coverage

1. Collaboration:

Working closely with crossfunctional teams such as IT customer service operations and business stakeholders to understand requirements gather feedback and integrate automation solutions into existing processes

1. Continuous Improvement:

Staying up to date with the latest automation technologies best practices and industry trends. Proactively seeking opportunities to enhance existing automation solutions and introduce new ones

Key Skills and Qualifications:

1. Bachelors degree in computer science or Software Engineering.

2. Handson experience on API testing.

3. Proven experience as an automation engineer with 0.5 1 year of practical experience in automation with a focus on Java and JavaScript languages.

4. Familiarity with test automation tools frameworks such as Selenium Cypress or Appium and knowledge of POM.

5. Analytical mindset with problemsolving abilities.

6. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
