We are looking to hire a Spa Manager responsible for shaping our guest and employee experiences by providing exceptional knowledge and service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Builds a motivated and skilled team, leads by example and installs a culture of continuous learning and improvement among employees; actively participates in Employee Relations activities and programs.
  • Interact with guest, providing full knowledge and assistance for maximum guest usage in a friendly but unobtrusive manner;
  • Be cross trained in all functions of the spa and assist in times of need;
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date records and statistics on SPA Members and Membership sales;
  • Demonstrates standards awareness, by setting example for standards execution, standards testing and implementing action plans to achieve established product and service goals;
  • The ability to convey clear instructions and guidance to staff and establish working relationships that attain a high level of effective employee morale.
  • Monitor, coordinate and process vacations, days off and shift change requests in a timely manner and ensure that changes do not negatively impact the schedule or guests.
  • The ability to interview, train, schedule, monitor employee performance, discipline and complete payroll for all personnel who report to him/her.
  • The ability to help the Spa Director give guidelines, direction and monitoring for the spa operation's development and effectiveness.
  • The ability to review all suggestions and comments from guests and make necessary adjustments.
  • The ability to ensure timely and effective performance reviews for the department.
  • Achieve sales targets monthly as set by the Hotel;
  • Responsible for the administration of goods, requisitions, inventories, storage and cost-effective usage of department-related materials and assets, according to standards to ensure for smooth operation;
  • Oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of all areas in the Spa and coordinate special requirements with Housekeeping, Laundry, and Engineering;
  • Make recommendations regarding the annual operating budget, capital investment budget, operating planning and further periodic evaluations of financial performance, including reports on sales and operations with supporting statistical data;
  • Introduce new and innovative treatments, products, rituals and facials to continually enhance and develop the spa menu;
  • Keep Senior Management of the Hotel informed of all member-related issues, events and programs;
  • Maintain optimum par levels for all materials and supplies and assure availability in operational and guest supplies;
  • Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management and staff.
