Patient Volume per day: 45
Patient Demographics: All ages
Admissions per day: 57 ED patients
% of ED Transfer: 70% per month
Physicians in Practice: Available
APP will not be working autonomously; Supervising physician will be present during assignment.
Duties:
ED staff responds to house codes house codes are secondary to ED emergencies.
EMS calls ED to offer report on incoming patients; ambulance unit across road from hospital transfers patients upon request (Transfers go to the facility thats 19 miles away)
Air Ambulance Response Time: LifeNet w/ rapid response for air transport (infrequently needed)
No. of Beds: 10
Trauma Level: IV
EMR: Epic
Other Info:
No fast track in ED.
Deliveries are transferred to OB triage.
ED is not responsible for monitoring/supervising paramedics/ambulance by radio.
24 hr availability for radiology lab OR anesthesia general surg.
Travel lodging and malpractice insurance covered

Requirements:
Active MI License
BC/BE
ATLS ACLS PALS
With 3 years of experience
Must be local (mileage)
COVID Vaccination proof
