Freelance Business Development Executive (Software Projects)
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and resultsoriented Freelance Business Development Executive to join our team and help us secure exciting software development projects. You will be responsible for identifying qualifying and converting leads into paying clients playing a crucial role in driving our companys growth. This is a remotefirst position offering flexibility and autonomy for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
  • Prospecting and lead generation:
  • Utilize various channels to identify potential clients in need of software development services (e.g. online platforms industry events networking).
  • Conduct thorough research to understand client needs pain points and budget.
  • Qualify leads to ensure alignment with our expertise and offerings.
  • Client relationship building:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition of our services and address client concerns.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing to secure mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Proposal development:
  • Craft compelling proposals that clearly outline our capabilities proposed solutions and competitive advantages.
  • Work closely with internal teams to develop accurate project estimates and timelines.
  • Project management:
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth project onboarding and delivery.
  • Manage client expectations and communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Market research and analysis:
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitor offerings.
  • Identify new market opportunities and develop strategies to tap into them.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in business development preferably within the software development industry.
  • Strong understanding of B2B sales processes and the ability to close deals independently.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills both written and verbal.
  • Ability to build rapport and trust with clients at all levels..
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Selfmotivated deadlineoriented and able to work independently in a remote environment.
