Job Description
Overview
As an SAP IS Consultant at our company you will play a pivotal role in designing implementing and supporting SAP solutions to meet our business needs. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring smooth integration and functionality of SAP systems across various departments and business functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and map them to SAP IS solutions
As an SAP ISOil consultant you will be designing implementing and deploying SAP solutions to achieve defined business goals. Maintain skills in SAP applications process design and configuration; SAP application design development integration testing and deployment; and SAP application technical architecture.
Roles & responsibilities:
- Design implement and deploy SAP solutions to achieve defined business goals.
- Be part of the project delivery team leading and supporting the implementation SAP ISOil.
- Responsible for creating requirement traceability matrix design documents and test scripts.
- Drive discussion with client business during blueprint phase to gather requirements solution design sign off demo of the configured solution final UAT sign off.
- Adapt existing methods and procedures to create possible alternative solutions to moderately complex problems.
- Manages small teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client
- Configure and customize SAP IS modules according to business needs
- Optimize and streamline system processes to maximize efficiency and productivity
- Provide enduser support and training for SAP IS applications
- Participate in system testing debugging and performance tuning
- Conduct regular system audits to ensure data integrity and security
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure seamless integration of SAP IS with other systems
- Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and best practices
- Lead or participate in SAP IS implementation and upgrade projects
- Act as a subject matter expert for SAP IS providing guidance and recommendations
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
- Proven experience minimum 5 years as an SAP IS Consultant or in a similar role
- Expertise in SAP IS configuration customization and implementation
- Strong understanding of business processes and how they translate to SAP IS solutions
- Proficiency in SAP modules such as MM SD FI CO and integration with other systems
- Excellent problemsolving skills and analytical thinking
- Project management experience with SAP IS projects
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders
- Certifications in SAP IS modules or related areas
- Knowledge of SAP best practices and industry standards
