On going training and development

As a Registered Children s Home Manager you will be creating a nurturing caring environment working closely with the responsible Individual to create a caring home for up to 3 children who need permanent care or who need support to help them prepare for a move into foster care. You will lead the team and mentor them in giving the support that these children deserve.

We are looking for someone who is currently a Registered Children s Home Manager who has a proven track record and looking for a new challenge or an extremely experienced Deputy Manager who is looking to step up into a Registered Manager position.

Knowledge Skills and Qualifications required of the Registered Children s Home Manager:

• Registered Managers award (RMA Children) (Combined Management and Care Award)
  
• Must have significant residential childcare experience.
  
• A sound understanding of OFSTED regulation.
  
• We are looking for someone who has a full driving licence.
  
• Ability to demonstrate effective leadership.
  
• Ability to achieve service delivery to national standards.
  
• A passion to develop a new service for children/young adults.
