Founded in 2019 by Philippe Notton and financed by the European Union SiPearl embodies Europes dream of mastering the technological heart of its supercomputers: the microprocessor.

SiPearl is building Rhea the worlds first energyefficient #HPCdedicated microprocessor designed to work with any thirdparty accelerator (#GPU #AI #quantum). It will help Europe solving major challenges in medical research artificial intelligence security energy management and climate while reducing its environmental footprint.

Since our creation in 2019 we host 170 collaborators in 6 offices: France (MaisonsLaffitte Massy Grenoble Sophia Antipolis) Germany (Duisburg) Spain (Barcelona).

After a successful series A in 2023 (90M ) SiPearl has recently won an emblematic contract to equip Europes first exascale supercomputer JUPITER who will be operated by the EuroHPCs center of research from Jlich (Germany). And as the dream of a European machine crossing the 1 billion billion mark calculations per second thanks to an European microprocessor is becoming reality SiPearl is willing to hire 150 engineers by the end of 2024!

What a regular day at the job might look like:

Analog and Mixedmode design Expert is a critical technical position in a fabless IC design house that is responsible for the Knowledge and the Quality of the analog designs and mixedmode designs in modern digital chips.

She/he reports to CTO directly and as part of CTO office member. For the Technical responsibility she/he will overlook ; and report to CTO for the Technical responsibility to build the complete Technology roadmap.

Title: (Senior) Mixedmode Expert.

Location: SiPearl MaisonsLaffitte office (preferred) or SiPearl existing offices (Massy Sophia Antipolis Grenoble).

Responsibilities

She/he is responsible for following works:

1) Define and execute SiPearl Analog and mixed mode technology roadmap as part of the global technology roadmap based on SiPearl product roadmap by working with internal SoC architects for the requirements and externally with technology suppliers.

2) Build the knowledge database of analog technology that are relevant to SiPearl product vision with special attention to

• Adv. silicon technology beyond 3nm
  
• Mixed mode technology for 2.5D and 3D packaging
• Photonics
  
• and will compete with world class players (ex: AMD Intel NVidia)

3) Report and present the technical vision internally and present SiPearl vision externally for her/his responsibility.

4) As the lead Analog architect Define and help to define Product Architecture for the analog and mixed mode relevant part including but not limited to analog components mixed mode components chiplevel power distribution and regulation chiplevel clock distribution and generation.

5) Define and Help to define the Requirement Review and Qualify external licensed components for the analog and mixedmode design part.

6) Define and Setup internal mixedmode design simulation and verification workflow.

7) Define and Review the and design services for the analog and mixedmode design part.

8) Work with external research and collaborations to develop the required mixed mode technology ecosystem.

9) Support corporate sales and marketing activities for customer projects for the analog expertise.

What would help you succeed in this role:

• 10 years experience in analog and mixed mode design and technology

Note : for Senior expert >15 years of experience.

• Require Analog design and verification experience in modern FinFET technology preferably <5nm and preferably in TSMC design ecosystem.

• Experience in Package SI/PI simulation.
• Mastering modern EDA tools for analog design and simulation/verification.
• Experience in highspeed digital interfaces.
• Experience in power regulation with advanced silicon processes.
• Senior experience working and managing external technology suppliers design service and subcontractors.

• You are fluent in English.
• You have good presentation and communication skills.
• Good documentation skills.
• Good knowledge management experience.
• You consider yourself as being able to work both as a single contributor as an Expert and team player when working in a task force.

Note: This role involves regular planned trips on quarterly basis to SiPearl different offices for the relevant activities.
