Mechanical Technician

MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN (Permanent)
Our client a locally owned established company in WNY is looking to hire a Mechanical Technician to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity with a company that values its employees and understands the importance of a worklife balance. They are open to seasoned technicians as well as entrylevel candidates.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance on various pieces of mechanical equipment
  
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with machinery
  
• Identify root cause of issues and implement necessary repairs/solutions in a timely manner
  
• Ensure machinery is functioning at optimum performance levels
  
• Report to office every morning to receive daily job orders and fill out necessary paperwork
  
• Travel to different job sites on a daily basis to perform necessary maintenance on specified machinery
  
• Attempt to complete each job the day it is issued return to jobsite if work requires additional days
  
• Ensure completed work is being documented on appropriate paperwork
  
• Work well in a team environment as well as independently
  
• Maintain uptodate knowledge of commercial grade machinery
  
• Complete special projects as needed
  
• Other duties as assigned/as necessary
  

Details:

• Position is full time direct hire
  
• MF 8:004:30 anything after 4:30 is OT
  
• Clean driving license
  
• Coverage area all of WNY down to Pennsylvania border and up to Canadian border
  
• High School diploma or equivalent
  
• Technical degree/certification in engineering preferred
  
• $18.00 $40.00/hour depending on experience
