This is a remote position.
We are a headhunter agency matching top talent in The Philippines with fastgrowing US and global companies. We are hiring an ambitious and talented BackEnd Developer to join a Nimble company. Our client is an artificial intelligence platform developing AI agents that automate back office tasks.
Working hours: Monday to Friday 6 hours flexible 2 hours overlap during EST business hours
Holidays: To be discussed later
Salary range: $1500 $2000 per month
Responsibilities
- Develop robust and scalable backend solutions using Python with a focus on FastAPI for API development.
- Design implement and maintain databases with a strong emphasis on PostgreSQL.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate userfacing elements using serverside logic.
- Implement and maintain RESTful APIs ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
- Work closely with AI and machine learning teams integrating AI models and algorithms into the backend infrastructure.
- Optimize application for maximum speed efficiency and scalability.
- Conduct code reviews identify areas for improvement and mentor junior developers.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in AI implementing relevant technologies and tools.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including data scientists and UI/UX designers to achieve project goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience (at least 3 years) as a BackEnd Developer with a strong focus on Python development.
- Expertise in using FastAPI for building highperformance APIs.
- Solid understanding of database design and experience with PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with AI concepts and a keen interest in artificial intelligence.
- Experience with OpenAI or similar AI frameworks is a plus.
- Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to optimize code for performance.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git) and collaborative development workflows.
- Ability to work in an agile development environment and meet project deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly in a dynamic work environment.
