We are currently looking for a Bilingual Photo Retoucher for one of our clients in the printing industry.

What is in it for you:

Hourly salary of $23.00 to $26.40 based on experience.
7month contract.
Parttime (3 days per week).
Weekday schedule from 9 am to 5 pm.
Onsite presence is required.

Responsibilities:

Keep abreast of industry trends and innovative design practices through proactive market research proposing new ideas regularly.
Develop precise brandcompliant design solutions for various channels adhering to industry standards for print.
Enhance designs to meet WCAG 2.0 (ADA) accessibility standards.
Provide brand guidance to ensure consistency across all materials.
Participate in client meetings articulating design insights and rationale confidently.
Advise clients on effective communication solutions addressing inquiries and escalating complex issues when necessary.
Manage workload efficiently working both independently and collaboratively within a design team.
Monitor budgets and deadlines alerting senior members of potential issues promptly.
Adhere to quality control policies while seeking opportunities for process improvements.
Redesign layouts based on existing compositions.
Uphold brand integrity for clients.
Ensure adherence to proper standards and industry best practices.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet design requirements.
Document and store all projects including approvals appropriately.
Fulfill other responsibilities as directed by senior creative personnel or direct supervisors.

What you will need to succeed:

24 years of graphic design experience in a fastpaced clientoriented environment.
24 years graphic design/new media design/information design diploma/degree from a recognized institution.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign Illustrator Photoshop) Figma and After Effects (Animation skills are a plus). Working knowledge of PowerPoint Word and Dreamweaver would be advantageous.
Professional understanding of the Apple OS and ecosystem.
Experience designing web assets social media cards digital ads email campaigns animation and print media.
Ability to adhere to corporate brand guidelines with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong project management skills including the ability to manage multiple projects competing priorities objectives and deadlines.
Excellent communication skills with a passion for client service and the ability to communicate professionally and diplomatically even in challenging situations. Bilingualism in English is an asset.
Comfortable working in a team environment presenting and brainstorming ideas with seniorlevel business partners.
Ability to present concepts and design direction quickly through sketches and mood boards.
Demonstrated excellence in customer service teamwork and time management.
Accurate and consistent completion of time sheets.
A diverse portfolio demonstrating creativity and critical thinking.
