Senior Product Designer

As our newSenior Product Designer you willplay a crucial role in the development of new digital products and services or the improvement of existing ones bridging the gap between user needs business goals and technical feasibility.

You will beresponsible for translating complex problems into elegant design solutions advocating for usercentric design principles and iterating designs based on feedback and data to create elegant impactful and innovative products.

Also it will be up to you to beresponsible for nurturing mentoring and influencing other team members and stakeholders leading to positive business outcomes.

You and your role:

Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including product managers engineers and stakeholders to generate ideas and concepts for new products or product enhancements.

Develop user flows wireframes and prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas and interactions.

Design beautiful simple elegant interfaces that align with the products brand and target audience.

Define and design the interactions and microinteractions within the product. Ensure consistency and coherence in the overall user experience.

Conduct user research to understand user needs pain points and behaviour. Gather insights through methods such as interviews surveys and usability testing.

Develop and maintain design systems style guides and UI pattern libraries to ensure consistency across products and platforms.

Work closely with crossfunctional teams including product managers engineers and stakeholders to understand requirements provide design insights and contribute to the product development process.

Advocate for accessible and inclusive design practices ensuring products are usable by individuals with disabilities and diverse user groups.

Keep abreast of industry trends emerging design patterns and technologies. Share knowledge and contribute to the growth of the design team.

Essential Skills:

Good writing skills with the ability to write and structure content.
Effective communication skills and the ability to express views and ideas both verbally and in writing.
Experience in negotiating and influencing others including peer groups and those in senior positions.
A strong understanding of agile practices and how they help deliver products/services and a keen understanding of SEO practices.
Experience in evaluating and analysing information and data to propose improvements to content to ensure users needs are met.

Desirable Skills:
Degree in HCI/Usability/Design or related field
