About the role

As a Backend Developer youll join our crossfunctional product team crafting innovative solutions for sustainable living. Youll collaborate closely with frontend developers and other teams to design develop and deploy robust web and digital applications empowering our customers to make informed decisions about their homes sustainability.

In this team your focus will be on building the tools needed to find an optimal energy solution and offer a smooth installation. Youll drive the development of features and applications that ensure a seamless customer journey from initial discovery to installation day. Youll actively engage in discussions writing clean and scalable code while leveraging your expertise to build models integrations and other solutions.

What you bring to the team

• Experience with productdriven software development and agile environments
• Experience with Java and Spring Boot
• Automated testing at different levels (unit tests integration tests etc.)
  

We would also appreciate it if you have experience with or knowledge of some of the following:

• Rapid growth journeys (startups scaleups new environments)
• Databases (DynamoDB/PostgreSQL)
• Event driven architectures (Kafka)
• Cloud DevOps (AWS Docker Kubernetes continuous delivery logging metrics)
• gRPC and Protobuf
• Terraform
• React
• Kanban
