Backend Developer

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing and implementing serverside logic using advanced Java programming
• Integrating userfacing elements developed by frontend developers with serverside logic
• Designing and implementing data storage solutions
• Building scalable and highperformance APIs for mobile and web applications
• Implementing security and data protection measures
• Troubleshooting and debugging applications to optimize performance
• Collaborating with crossfunctional teams to define design and ship new features
• Contributing to the entire software development lifecycle
• Participating in code reviews and knowledge sharing sessions
• Staying uptodate with industry best practices and technologies

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or relevant field
• Proven work experience of minimum 5 years as a Backend Developer
• Proficiency in Java with a good understanding of its ecosystems
• Experience with documenting Node.js processes including database schemas as well as preparing reports
• Extensive knowledge of MongoDB JavaScript web stacks libraries and frameworks
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and API development
• Ability to write clean efficient and secure code
• Strong problemsolving skills and a detailoriented mindset
• Experience with Agile methodologies and version control tools
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization technologies is a plus
