As Events Coordinator you will plan, develop, market, and manage the events of the Ministry to raise awareness and strengthen public relations between the Ministry and all the constituencies. You will be responsible for managing and directing the budget to achieve successful and informative events in Qatar. Responsibilities include: - Communicate and coordinate with all departments and stakeholders internally and externally to ensure that the event is executed properly. - Planning and facilitating logistics services for all events, including contract negotiations, guest lists, setting up premises, security, restaurants, transport, equipment, decor, and marketing materials. - Overseeing and managing all details of events. - Identify and explore errors and deal with all problems before or during the implementation of events. - Create post-event reports and submit them to the Director of the Department or his/her deputy. • *Here’s What You’ll Need**: - Proven experience coordinating and managing events - Event experience in several industries/sectors would be beneficial - Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Public Relations, Hospitality or equivalent - Strong communication skills - 5 years’ experience in marketing or event management Jacobs.
