In a nutshell
Our People team strives to revolutionize human resources in the same way that Picnic has revolutionized grocery delivery. Picnics central team is build up out of 1000 talented individuals spread across three main locations: Amsterdam Paris and Dsseldorf. The people team consists of 15 HR Business Partners that take full responsibility for the development and organization of everyone in the central team. Currently the 250 central employees work in the fast growing Dsseldorf office. As an HR Business Partner you will be responsible for approximately 75 Picnicers.
Your responsibilities will vary from conducting reviews working on peoplerelated projects and having development conversations with our teams. Youll demonstrate an understanding of the business and act as a thought leader regarding people topics. Youll partner with a crossfunctional group of experts to design and execute the strategy for how your assigned team: staffs onboards develops rotates motivates retains and organizes.
What youll do
- Drive performance and talent by conducting checkins and biannual reviews with employees
- Conduct all adminrelated tasks around development agreements contracts and compensation
- Be a trusted advisor and a coach to the leadership team and play a critical role in enhancing leadership effectiveness
- Drive peoplerelated initiatives provide insightful data to guide decisionmaking and provide proactive solutions
- Design and improve people programs (including staffing onboarding learning & development and rotation processes)
- Build organizational health by ensuring that the organization is structured to achieve business objectives
- Manage talent to ensure the right people are in the right roles
- Enable business leaders to cultivate an effective leadership pipeline
About you
- Masters degree in HR Psychology or similar
- 2 to 4 years of experience as an HR Business Partner
- Knowledge of the German market and labor law is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders
- Project management and operations experience
- Driven to challenge convention and reinvent how work is done
- Natural ability to coach and develop teams
- Passionate about people and able to work with colleagues of all levels
- Fluency in English (German is a plus)
