Technology Architect - Senior

Deliverable Support existing storage infrastructure. Intergrade new storage infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Support and implement approved changes to existing storage arrays fibre switches and management aplications.
  
• Work with clients and vendors on any issues or changes as required.
  
• Work with team and solutions on refreshes expansions and new infrastructure being deployed as required.
  
• Perform acceptance process as new infrastructure is transitioned from Solutions/Build team to Data Center Operations.
  
• Educate rest of team and prepare operational documentation for new technologies being added.
  

Requirements

Experience and Skill Set Requirements

Enterprise Tier 4 Storage Infrastructure experience

Parameters:

• 10 years experience providing oversight to support storage infrastructure.
  
• Demonstrated experience overseeing refresh and transition activities as well as team resources associated with the migration.
  
• Demonstrated experience with replacement of large enterprise complex services and hardware at large critical locations.
  
• Demonstrated experience and indepth knowledge of modern Data Centre service models combined with a solid background in contemporary Data Centre approaches.

Documentation and Communication Skills

Parameters:

• Demonstrated experience with assisting transition and refresh.
  
• Demonstrated experience in change management activities.
  
• Demonstrated ability for strong documentation and writing skills.
  

Project Management

• 10 years demonstrated experience in complex projects related to data center uplifts migrations.
