Works Manager

You ll be looking after aspects such as machinery maintenance facilities management security and other aspects to ensure the production environment is operational and able to produce goods.

• Managing the daytoday operations of the site implanting necessary changes and adhering to compliance procedures laws and regulations.
  
• Facilities management machine and plant maintenance security and other operational responsibilities
  
• Developing improving and putting operations and production plans in place to meet company goals.
  
• Ensure that all health & safety and environmental policies procedures rules and regulations are adhered to and are regularly reviewed and updated.
  
• Closingout EHS&Q actions in a timely fashion.
  
• Reporting and investigating accidents incidents and nearmisses in line with company Processes.
  
• Managing security across the site.
  
• Being responsible for the facilities and maintenance department; ensuring all compliance regulations are adhered to.
  
• Evaluating overall operational performance.
  
• Providing all necessary reports assisting management in goal setting and promoting company growth.
  
• Managing budgets within operations.
  
• Allocating the company resources materials and equipment to the most productive functions supply chain and delivery management.
  
• Creating operation strategies and embedding initiatives to reduce company costs and increase employee productivity.
  
• Identifying and reporting asset management/maintenance issues and monitoring closeout of actions and repairs.
  
• Your background for the Works Manager role :
  
• Proven experience as a Works Manager or equivalent position.
  
• Experience in managing and leading a team in a fastpaced work environment within manufacturing.
  
• Strong leadership and communication skills for training and motivating teams creating the visions for the future of the company.
  
• Excellent computer skills with the ability to analyse business intelligence and big data that identify revenue opportunities and operations improvements.
  
• Problemsolving for improving processes increasing efficiency and profits.
  
• Expert knowledge of safety efficiency and productquality standards.
  
• Expertise in managing external partner relationships and contracts.
  
• Knowledge of industry legal rules guidelines and diverse business principles and functions.
