Job Description

Our respected Client international real estate developer and investor is seeking an experienced Group Head of Construction Project Control (HCPC) to oversee the success of our construction projects across Europe. The HCPC will play a pivotal role in guiding project budgeting and costeffectiveness working closely with local finance and construction teams and procurement/cost engineering departments. The HCPC reports to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Tasks

  • Project Budget Management: Critically assess and advise on local project budget preparation and costeffectiveness coordinating budget requests for executive approval.
  • Crossfunctional Collaboration: Maintain strong relationships with local Finance Construction teams and Procurement/Cost Engineering departments.
  • Data and Process Management: Provide reliable data assessments ensuring postevaluation of projects leads to insights and process improvements.
  • Expert Advisory: Utilize expert knowledge to support the budget approval process and anticipate potential issues costs and risks.

  • Leadership in a wellprepared and thorough budget approval process.
  • Efficient handling of formal processes and historical learnings.

Requirements

  • Leadership and Team Management: Ability to lead and motivate teams including remote management.
  • Financial and Project Management: Proficiency in budgeting forecasting and controlling project finances.
  • Analytical and ProblemSolving Skills: Strong capability in data analysis decisionmaking and tackling challenges.
  • Effective Communication: Skilled in articulating project goals and timelines to teams and stakeholders.
  • Risk and Contract Management: Competence in managing risks and understanding contract principles.
  • Construction and Engineering Knowledge: Solid grasp of construction processes building standards and regulations.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with ERP systems like D365 AutoCAD or similar software.
  • Educational Background: University degree in civil engineering or quantitative surveying with finance and RICS accreditation as a plus.
  • Extensive Industry Experience: At least 10 years in the European real estate sector.
