Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Installation and configuration of Active Directory domain controllers across various Windows server versions including Windows Serverand their respective R2 editions.
- Perform AD server configuration according to customer standards.
- Deployment of Microsoft security hotfixes and upgrades within the Active Directory environment following change management processes.
- Management of Active Directory domain controller FSMO roles.
- Configuration and management of Group Policy Objects (GPO).
- Experience with certificatebased authentication and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) infrastructure.
- Addition removal and configuration of Active Directory sites sitelinks and subnets.
- Installation and configuration of DHCP servers.
- Diagnosis and resolution of problems associated with Directory Replication services.
- Proficiency in DNS configuration for Active Directory including skills necessary for Group Policy and Active Directory Security solutions.
- Establishment maintenance and removal of Trust relationships.
- Implementation monitoring and maintenance of Active Directory Domain Controller design Schema OU design AD replication topology and DC backup/restore procedures.
- Administration and management of Active Directory Services including design cleanup routine maintenance and configuration.
- Creation and maintenance of AD environment management documentation as necessary.
- Handling and generation of Change requests through Incident/Problem Management tools preferably SNOW.
- Ensuring the overall security of the Active Directory domain including adherence to Cyber Security Policy security standards procedures and guidelines.
- Root cause analysis of Active Directoryrelated incidents and implementation of remediation measures.
- Active Directory process automation using PowerShell scripting.
Qualifications:
- 8 years of engineering or architecture experience delivering Windows server solutions in largescale enterprise environments.
- Strong working knowledge of Windows Server versions and Active Directory infrastructure.
- Proven experience in Active Directory domain controller installation configuration and management.
- Expertise in managing FSMO roles Group Policy Objects (GPO) DNS DHCP and Active Directory replication.
- Familiarity with certificatebased authentication PKI infrastructure and security best practices.
- Proficiency in change management processes and incident/problem management tools.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g. MCSE MCSA etc.) preferred.
