Key Accountabilities: Role purpose: Creating opportunities for learning through initiating and expanding the museum's educational role. • Knowledgeable about the National Curriculum standards and able to present materials in pedagogically appropriate way. • Develop and deliver educational programs that are connected to the National Curriculum standards • Delivers gallery tours for various audiences. • Delivers workshops and courses in various techniques (multimedia, virtual, physical, etc). • Assists and participate in developing materials for guided tours and workshops based on his/her knowledge and experience in the field. • Flexible and able to communicates with all types of audiences • Confident in training volunteers, teachers, etc. • Responsible for being present at all times according to the programming schedule, this includes afternoons, weekends and public holidays. • Conducts programs at different QM locations and community premises. • Create learning resources to be used by the on- and off-site audiences. • Assess and evaluate the museum's programs (guided tours, lectures, workshops, etc.) Qualifications/Requirements: • B.A. in education, museum studies or art history. • Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience. • Fluency in Arabic and English; other languages is a plus. • Proficient communication skills
