Role Database Lead Consultant
Location Gurugram (Work from Office)
JD:
Min. 8 years of experience
Lead the design and architecture of AWS Aurora PostgreSQL database solutions based on business requirements.
Provide expertise in data modeling indexing and optimization for performance and scalability.
Understanding of AWS Cloud design patterns.
Oversee and contribute to the development of database schemas stored procedures functions and triggers.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure optimal database integration with applications.
Conduct performance tuning and optimization of AWS Aurora PostgreSQL databases to ensure efficient and responsive data access.
Analyze and resolve performance bottlenecks and issues.
Implement and enforce security best practices for AWS Aurora PostgreSQL databases.
Develop and maintain backup and recovery strategies for PostgreSQL databases.
Implement disaster recovery plans to minimize data loss and downtime.
Implement and manage high availability solutions such as streaming replication or logical replication.
Set up and maintain database clusters for failover and load balancing.
Establish monitoring systems to track database performance availability and health.
Must Have:
Extensive experience as a AWS Aurora PostgreSQL database administrator or consultant.
Strong proficiency in SQL and PL/pgSQL.
Indepth knowledge of PostgreSQL features capabilities and best practices.
Experience with database performance tuning and optimization.
Familiarity with PostgreSQL extensions and additional tools.
Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
Relevant certifications in PostgreSQL or related technologies are a plus.
