The Residential Home Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and management of a residential care facility. This role involves ensuring the wellbeing safety and quality of life for residents as well as managing staff budgets and administrative tasks. The Residential Home Manager also plays a crucial role in fostering a supportive and nurturing environment for residents and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
Requirements
Leadership and Management:
Provide strong leadership to the residential care team including hiring training supervising and evaluating staff.
Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operation of the facility.
Foster a positive work culture that promotes teamwork professionalism and residentcentered care.
Resident Care:
Oversee the delivery of highquality care and support services to residents in accordance with their individual care plans and preferences.
Monitor residents health wellbeing and safety and coordinate with healthcare professionals as needed.
Facility Operations:
Manage daytoday operations of the facility including maintenance housekeeping and meal services to ensure a clean safe and comfortable environment for residents.
Conduct regular inspections to identify any maintenance issues or safety concerns and coordinate repairs or improvements as necessary.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to resident care staff schedules budgets and regulatory compliance.
Financial Management:
Develop and manage the facility budget including forecasting expenses monitoring revenue and controlling costs.
Ensure proper billing and collection of fees from residents or their families in compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
