Data Project Manager

Contract Data Project Manager (specialising in data and integration technologies in Financial Services)

Day Rate: 495 (Outside IR35)
Location: Hybrid 2 days per week on site in London
Duration: 3/6 month contract

We are excited to collaborate with one of our clients on a significant Data Transformation project. As the Data Project Manager this is your chance to be at the forefront of transforming their organisation into a datadriven powerhouse. Working closely with the Head of Data youll take charge of discovering selecting and implementing cuttingedge data and integration technologies within the client.

• Identify and prioritise streams for modernisation focusing on data lineage data quality and data streaming.
  
• Implement data streaming solutions to automate data flow processes reducing manual data entry in legacy systems.
  
• Oversee the rollout of Master Data Management (MDM) solutions to integrate and centralise data across siloed systems.
  
• Report project progress and key findings to the Head of Data and other relevant stakeholders.
  
• Collaborate with the Head of Delivery for Data to develop a roadmap for implementation aligned with the business roadmap.
  
• Conduct workshops with business stakeholders to facilitate project rollout and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  
• Ensure that data migration from legacy core banking system is successfully completed as part of the modernisation efforts.
  

Requirements

• Proven experience in project management specifically in data modernisation or data transformation projects.
  
• Strong understanding of data management principles including data lineage data quality and master data management.
  
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to interact effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute project plans manage resources and mitigate risks effectively
  

• Experience working with data integration tools and platforms such as Power BI.
  
• Project management certification (e.g. PMP PRINCE2) is highly desirable.
  
• Knowledge of banking systems and regulations is a plus.
  
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with a focus on driving results and achieving project objectives.
