Our client one of the worlds leading defense contractors is seeking an Electrical Engineer for our Combat Mission Systems business. The Electrical Engineer supports the development testing fabrication and fielding of highly complex military equipment. In this role the Electrical Engineer: researches plans designs develops modifies and evaluates electronic and electrical systems and components. Utilizing advanced modeling and analysis tools to develop product specifications models simulations technical data packages and integration and verification procedures. Evaluate vendor capabilities technologies services and their ability to deliver required products or services The qualified candidate will work under the general direction of a project engineering lead to perform electrical system design on a variety of military systems ranging from combat vehicles gun systems and guided munitions. The Electrical Engineer provides detailed engineering analysis of components subsystems and systems for military product application.
Skills
Ability to solve moderately complex technical design and development problems that require a professional level of engineering knowledge
Experience in creating reading and comprehending schematics and interconnect drawings.
Ability to create and manage interface control documents.
Ability to perform circuit simulation (PSpice or LTspice)
Effective verbal and written communication skills to convey data information and technical results to customers.
Experience
Experience with analog and digital circuit design and analysis Experience developing technical documentation such as drawings reports & technical analysis
Education
Typically requires 3 years relevant experience with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field or 2 years with a Masters degree
