Your key job responsibilities as the Social Media Manager in Cape Town will include:

• Content creation: Develop compelling and creative content for various social media platforms including but not limited to Facebook Twitter Instagram and TikTok
  
• Social media strategy: Create and execute social media strategies to increase brand awareness engage with the community and drive user acquisition and retention
  
• Community management: Actively engage with the online community respond to comments messages and reviews and foster a positive online environment
  
• Content calendar: Maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent posting and alignment with marketing campaigns and events
  
• Analytics and reporting: Monitor social media analytics and provide regular reports on key performance metrics. Use insights to optimize strategies and campaigns
  
• Paid advertising: Plan and execute paid social media advertising campaigns to target specific demographics and maximise reach
  
• Trend analysis: Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in social media marketing particularly in the Sportsbook/iGaming sector
  

Requirements for this Social Media Manager job in Cape Town:

• 2 years of experience in social media management with a strong understanding of major social media platforms and their algorithms
  
• Prior experience in the Sportsbook/iGaming industry is required
  
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful social media campaigns
  
• Strong creative and writing skills with the ability to craft engaging and shareable content
  
• Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
