Test Technician

Responsible for quality fabrication of sled bucks bodyinwhites test fixtures for dynamic and static testing through proper utilization of shop equipment equipment maintenance and processes.

What youll do:

• Basic mill programming
• Read and follow fabrication work instructions
• Validation using engineering analysis tools
• Ensure that customer confidentiality is maintained
• Responsible for tracking work utilizing Autolivs databases

What is required:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 35 year experience inMig/Tig Welding & Basic Lathe and Mill Operation
• Microsoft Excel and Word knowledge required
• Communicate well and work in a team environment
• Mandatory use of tools (hand held welder cutter etc.) and basic machining (drill press shear brake lathe mill etc.) to make test fixtures (i.e. sled bucks BIW deployment impact tensile etc.)
• Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Tig Weld Mig Weld (certification nice to have)
• CMM / Overhead crane operation
• Read and interpret 2D drawings (i.e. tolerance stackups GD&T etc.)
