Job Description
WECJPQuality Engineer Intermediate
SAP testing mandatory (SD MM modules tcode knowledge should be there)
Responsibilities
Review requirements specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
Create detailed comprehensive and wellstructured test plans and test cases
Estimate prioritize plan and coordinate testing activities
Design develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
Identify record document thoroughly and track bugs
Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
Monitor debugging process results
Investigate the causes of nonconforming software and train users to implement solutions
Track quality assurance metrics like defect densities and open defect counts
Stay uptodate with new testing tools and test strategies
Work independently across time zones with global teams with limited supervisor support
Excellent communication client management skills crossfunctional collaboration skills and analytical skills
Requirements
Overall 4 to 8 years of experience in SAP Testing domain for various SAP systems applications modules(SDMMFI) and business processes
Proven work experience in software quality assurance
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies tools and processes
Experience in writing clear concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
Experience in Test Plan Management and Solution Documentation using JIRA
Handson experience & good knowledge in SAP Functional/business Processes for P2PO2C
Prior Knowledge and hand on of Test management toolJIRA
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
Be willing to help your teammates share your knowledge with them and learn from them
Be open to receiving constructive feedback and turning it into process improvements
Good problemsolving skills
Ability to troubleshoot and think out of the box
BS/MS degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related subject
