Senior Technical Writer

Roles & Responsibilities :

• Plan create and edit user guides for our products.
• Ensure technical content is wellformatted grammatically correct and professional.
• Help review and create UI text such as tooltips error messages and labels for buttons/fields in the software.
• Create video tutorials to supplement the existing documentation.
• Gather continuous feedback from the business team and address their content requirements.
• Collaborate with other writers designers and developers to create marketing collaterals such as blogs.
• Help developers and other members of the company who have documentationrelated queries.

Basic Requirements/Mandates :

• 3 years of relevant experience in technical writing.
• Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
• Proven experience in writing editing researching and planning software documentation.
• Excellent skills in grammar communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with Git commands and GitHub/GitLab for version control.
• Experience using static site generators and following docsascode method (in Sublime or VS Code).
• Familiarity with image and videoediting tools (Snagit/Photoshop Filmora/Camtasia).
• Decent knowledge about HTML and CSS (need not be in a professional context).
• Confident to work with several teams in parallel.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge in the ecommerce domain will be a huge plus.
• Familiarity with API documentation.
