ServiceNow Developer

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop ServiceNow applications and integrations based on business requirements.
• Implement and customize ServiceNow modules including Incident Problem Change CMDB and Service Catalog.
• Create and manage workflows forms reports and dashboards in ServiceNow.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Perform ServiceNow platform configuration customization and scripting using UI policies client scripts and business rules.
• Participate in all phases of the development lifecycle from requirements gathering to testing and deployment.
• Provide technical expertise in identifying evaluating and developing ServiceNow solutions and procedures.
• Ensure the security and integrity of ServiceNow applications by implementing best practices and following governance requirements.
• Support ServiceNow platform upgrades patches and enhancements.
• Train and mentor junior developers or administrators in ServiceNow best practices.
• Stay updated with ServiceNow new features modules and functionalities to propose and implement improvements.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to integrate ServiceNow with other systems and applications.
• Adhere to Agile methodologies for project delivery and continuous improvement.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation related to ServiceNow solutions and processes.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or Certified Application Developer.
• Proven experience in ServiceNow development implementation and administration.
• Expertise in JavaScript AngularJS HTML CSS and other web technologies.
• Good understanding of ITIL concepts and practices.
• Experience in integrating ServiceNow with thirdparty tools and applications.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases and data modeling principles.
• Ability to analyze complex technical requirements and to propose innovative solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in Agile methodologies and practices.
• Capability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
• Knowledge of CMDB and its importance in configuration management.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow upgrades patches and release management processes.
• Ability to troubleshoot diagnose and resolve ServiceNow technical issues.
• Strong problemsolving and analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
