Sr CNC Programmer

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Program and set up CNC machines based on engineering blueprints and specifications.
• Optimize machining processes to enhance productivity and minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with engineers to determine the most efficient manufacturing approaches.
• Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC machines to ensure smooth operations.
• Inspect machined parts to verify conformance to quality standards and make adjustments as necessary.
• Train and mentor junior CNC programmers and machine operators.
• Develop and maintain CNC programs using CAD/CAM software.
• Implement safety protocols and best practices in machining operations.
• Collaborate with tooling and maintenance personnel to ensure optimal tool performance.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machining processes and product quality.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: any graduate/ ITI/ diploma/ BE mechanical
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in CNC programming and machining operations.
• Indepth knowledge of CNC programming languages and Gcode programming.
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software such as AutoCAD SolidWorks or Mastercam.
• Strong understanding of precision machining processes and principles.
• Experience: 5 years of experience in brass industry
• Must have good knowledge of production and CNC & VMC programming
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering blueprints and technical drawings.
• Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting skills in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record of optimizing machining processes for improved efficiency and quality.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration within crossfunctional teams.
• Thorough knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in machining and manufacturing.
